Join the heartbeat of our hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician at The VetHaven. As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you are the backbone of our medical and surgical teams, ensuring a seamless flow of high-quality services. 1. Deliver an exemplary level of patient care and supervise other technical staff.
2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of veterinary medicine, practices, and procedures (both surgical and clinical).
3. Induce and intubate patients for anesthetic procedures, manage anesthesia, and oversee patient recovery.
4. Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed.
5. Skillfully place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and execute various clinical techniques.
6. Ensure that clients are well-informed, comfortable, and satisfied with the services provided.
7. Contribute to maintaining the hospital’s gold standard of operations and care.
1. Holds an active, non-restricted veterinary technician license or certification.
2. Expert communicator with exemplary written and verbal skills.
3. Delivers first-in-class customer service with a focus on client education and support.
4. Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to perform various job duties within the hospital.
5. Brings a friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
6. Exhibits an unwavering commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
7. Has 2+ years of experience as a licensed technician in a veterinary hospital (preferred).
