Dr. Jennifer E. Sodetz brings a distinctive blend of artistic and veterinary expertise to her practice. After earning her BA and MA from New York University, she pursued her passion for animal care by obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Midwestern University. With five years of experience, Dr. Sodetz is certified in Fear Free Practice and Veterinary Acupuncture, with a focus on acupuncture, geriatric medicine, behavior, and improving access to care.
A dedicated mentor, Dr. Sodetz supports Midwestern University's VetCORE group, providing vital veterinary services to pets of people experiencing homelessness. She also volunteers regularly with veterinary outreach programs on the Navajo Nation and offered mobile veterinary care during the pandemic to assist vulnerable communities.
Before her veterinary career, Dr. Sodetz worked in museum administration at The Getty Museum in Los Angeles. In her personal life, she enjoys time with her deaf Sheltie, Finian, and Chihuahua-doodle, Biscuit, as well as practicing yoga, traveling, and hiking.
